Dogs and Exercise

Like humans, dogs need regular exercise to stay healthy. It's critical to keep them living in fact, because a dog's body is made up of almost pure muscle. Even dogs who have extra fat on them have a base body mass of muscle and this muscle requires exercise to maintain full health.

When your dog is itching constantly, it could mean he/she has allergies, fleas, ticks or other skin problems. Dogs get skin problems just like humans do. The skin can become dry and flaky, or red and irritated, and these problems are compounded if your dog is constantly fighting with fleas and ticks. There are also dog specific skin problems such as mange, which must be treated properly in order to provide the dog relief from these problems.

Natural Flea and Tick Control

Springtime is here and anyone who has a dog knows this is the time of year fleas and ticks start invading. Dogs start scratching and biting, and fleas can be found almost anywhere. They live outside in leaf and yard debris, bushes, and any other dark place. They also thrive indoors within the carpet, in the furniture cushions, and particularly in the dogs bed or favorite sleeping places.

Bronchitis is an inflammation of the medium sized airways in the lungs. It can last for weeks, and often has symptoms of a bad cough, lots of phlegm coming up from the lungs, and shortness of breath and wheezing. The phlegm is often caused by the airway inflammation, and it can also cause  breathing problems.

Natural Dog and Puppy Care

The news has been very scary for dog owners lately. The food many people have been feeding dogs and puppies, the supposedly healthy, nutritional food we spend more money on because it's supposed to be high quality, started poisoning those very same dogs we were trying to care for.
