Joint Health
In the United States, at least one in every three Americans suffer from some form of chronic joint pain. Many of these problems are caused by various forms of arthritis, but some are caused by other problems, diseases, medical conditions, and lifestyle choices.
There are many things that can contribute to chronic joint pain. Arthritis is a frequent problem for many people, and different types of arthritis act in different ways but they still cause pain in the joints of the body.
Rheumatoid arthritis, for instance, which primarily affects women, causes tissues around the joints to become inflamed. With Rheumatoid arthritis, the joint pain is usually in the same joints on both sides of the body, and this particular form of arthritis is believed to be caused by a problem with the body's own immune system.
Osteoarthritis is another common cause of joint pain, and this is a condition which often simply develops over time as your body ages. Some body builders and weight lifters however, cause the Osteoarthritis by lifting too much weights at one time.
Some women can cause Osteoarthritis to develop by wearing high heeled shoes as well, and obese people cause joint pain from Osteoarthritis because they're putting too much stress on their knees for instance, with the excess body weight they're carrying.
